Dashboard overview
Dashboard overview
Section titled “Dashboard overview”The dashboard is your quickest summary of the day. It combines live attendance statistics with a recent activity feed and a small set of quick actions.
Main numbers on the dashboard
Section titled “Main numbers on the dashboard”BioTrack shows four headline values:
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Total Employees | How many employee records are currently registered in the system |
| Currently In Office | How many employees are currently counted as present |
| Check-ins Today | The number of arrival events recorded today |
| Late Arrivals | The number of employees marked late based on your configured threshold |
Activity feed
Section titled “Activity feed”The activity feed is useful when you want to see recent attendance events without filtering a full report. It helps answer questions like:
- Who just checked in?
- Was a late arrival recorded recently?
- Is the device actively receiving events?
Quick actions
Section titled “Quick actions”The quick actions panel is built for fast routine tasks:
- Sync Employees updates the employee list from the biometric device.
- Export Today’s Data creates a same-day export without going through the full reporting flow.
Connection status
Section titled “Connection status”You should also pay attention to the device status indicator. If the service is running and the device is connected, BioTrack shows that it is online and receiving events. If the device is offline, you should expect attendance updates to stop until the connection returns.
Best use of the dashboard
Section titled “Best use of the dashboard”Use the dashboard for fast monitoring, not detailed investigation. If you need employee-by-employee review, date filtering, or export by status, switch to the attendance or reports sections.
